PARKING AUTHORITY MINUTES
COUNCIL CHAMBER~ CITY HALL~ SANTA MONICA~ CALIFORNIA
Regular Meeting
7:30 p.m.~ Tuesday, January 9, 1979
The Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica met in Joint Session
with the Santa Monica Clty Council at the above-named time and place.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Donna O. Swink~ John Bambrlck, Seymour A. Cohen~
Christine Reed, Perry Scott, Nathaniel Trives, Pieter
van den Steenhoven
MEMBERS ABSENT: None
ALSO PRESENT: John Jalili~ Acting City Manager
Richard L. Knickerbocker~ City Attorney
Stanley E. Scholl~ Director of General Services
James J. Wrenn, Parking & Traffic Engineer
The Parking Authority portion of the concurrent meeting was convened by
Mayor Swink. On motion by Mr. Trives, seconded by Mrs. Reed, the Minutes
of the Special Meetlng dated October 24, 1978, were approved unanimously.
Mr. van den Steenhoven moved to adopt the staff recommendations in regard
to parking rate increases on various lots throughout the City. Mr.
Bambrick seconded the motion and it passed with the following vote:
AYES: MEMBERS: Bambrick, Cohen, Reed, Scott, Trives, van den Steenhoven,
Swink
NOES: MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: MEMBERS: None
There being no further business before the Parking Authority, on motion
by Mr. Trives~ seconded by Mr. Bambrick and carried unanimously, the
meeting was adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
