PARKING AUTHORITY MINUTES
COUNCIL CHAMBER, CITY HALL, SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA
January 9, 1968 7:15 P.M.
The Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica met in
regular session at the above named time and place. The Pledge
of Allegiance was g1ven.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Herbert A. Spurgin. Chairman, Wendell Corey,
Anthony Dituri, Kenneth Wamsley
MEHBERS ABSENT:
Clo Hoover, James Reidy, Royal Sorensen
ALSO PRESENT:
Perry Scott, City Manager
Bartlett Kennedy, City Engineer
Joseph D. Nadon, Parking & Traffic Engineer
On motion by Mr. Wamsley, seconded by Mr. Corey, the minutes
of the Parking Authority meetings of September 12 and December 18,
1967, were approved as submitted.
Mr. Wamsley moved that the Executive Secretary be authorized
to execute Addendum No.3 to Contract No. 20-A (P.A.S.) for the
architectural design of Parking Structures No. 5 and 6. The
motion was seconded by Mr. Corey and carried by the following
roll call vote:

ABSENT & NOT VOTING:
Members: Hoover. Reidy, Sorensen

Mr. Wamsley moved that the recommendation of the adminis-
tration to stop the sale of monthly parking permits on Authority
Lot #18 (7th Street north of Santa Monica Boulevard) be approved.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Corey and carried by the fOllowing
roll call vote:

NOES:
