A spec~al joint meet1ng of the Park1ng Authority was called to
order by Cha~rperson Reed at 7:47 P.M.

The motion was made,

Park1ng Author1ty meeting of February 26,
Presented was a staff report recommending adopt1on of a
resolution establ1shing a 50-cent per hour park1ng meter rate for
Parking Author1ty Lots 9 and 10, adjacent to Neilson Way between
K1nney Street and a point approx1mately 200 feet north of Hill
Street, and approval of appropriat1on of $26,500 to purchase the
necessary parts for implementation of the changes. Author1ty
Member Conn moved adoption of Resolution No. 188(PAS) ent1tled "A
RESOLUTION OF THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ESTABLISHING A 50 CENTS PER HOUR PARKING METER RATE IN LOTS 9 AND
10", read1ng by t1tle only and wa1v~ng further reading thereof,
and approval of appropriat1on in the amount of $26,500 from the
Park1ng Author1ty Reserve Fund to purchase the necessary parts to
implement the changes and an 1ncrease in revenue account
77-926-260-000-000 by $191,070. Second by Authority Member
Epste1n. The mot~on was approved by the following vote:
