R-8846 e e RESOLUTION NUMBER 8846 (CITY COUNCIL SERIES) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE ON FEBRUARY 14, 1995, FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS, CURBS AND THE REMOVAL OF DAMAGED PAVEMENT IN PARKWAY AREA (SR-95-191) - THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Superintendent of Streets will file a report of work completed pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, relating to improvements to sidewalks, driveways, curbs and parkway pavings at 1807 10TH STREET, 503 15TH STREET, 702 19TH STREET, 703 19TH STREET, 2405 21ST STREET, 1143 26TH STREET, 2243 28TH STREET, 208 ALTA AVENUE, 212 ALTA AVENUE, 2702 ARIZONA AVENUE, 2710 ARIZONA AVENUE, 2802 ARIZONA AVENUE, 2910 ARIZONA AVENUE, 2918 ARIZONA AVENUE, 630 BAY STREET, 636 BAY STREET, 201 BROADWAY, 1701 CEDAR STREET, 803 FIFTH STREET, 1124 GRANT STREET, 1208 MAPLE STREET, 1351 MAPLE STREET, 1004 MICHIGAN AVE, 919 MONTANA AVENUE, 925 MONTANA AVENUE, 927 MONTANA AVENUE, 1842 NINTH STREET, 608 PALISADES AVENUE, 959 PRINCETON STREET, 2801 VIRGINIA AVENUE, all within the City of Santa Monica. SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of said Code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on the 14th day of February, 1995, at 6:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers of city Hall, 1685 Main Street, Santa Monica, it will - 4 - e e hear and pass upon the report by the Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repairs, together with objections or protests, if any, which may be raised by any property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repairs and any other interested persons. SECTION 3. All protests or objections must be in writing and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for the hearing of the protests and objections. SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed to mail notices, in the manner and form prescribed by law, of the costs of repair and of the adoption of this Resolution to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to the City Clerk. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
