RESOLUTION NUMBER 8785 A (CITY COUNCIL SERIES) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE ON AUGUST 9, 1994, FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS, CURBS AND THE REMOVAL OF DAMAGED PAVEMENT IN PARKWAY AREA (SR-94-190) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. The Superintendent of Streets will file a report of work completed pursuant to section 5617 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, relating to improvements to sidewalks, driveways, curbs and parkway pavings at 1823 10TH STREET, 1836 10TH STREET, 1870 10TH STREET, 1853 12TH STREET, 1907 12TH STREET, 1917 12TH STREET, 1934 12TH STREET, 1759 17TH STREET, 1951 18TH STREET, 1963 18TH STREET, 1801 19TH STREET, 840 20TH STREET, 1339 20TH STREET, 2509 21ST STREET, 724 ASHLAND AVENUE, 3121 COLORADO AVENUE, 559 EUCLID STREET, 3101 FIFTH STREET, 1328 FRANKLIN STREET, 1338 HILL STREET, 2101 LINCOLN BOULEVARD, 2910 MAIN STREET, 1702 MICHIGAN AVENUE, 1811 MICHIGAN AVENUE, 1824 MICHIGAN AVENUE, 1834 MICHIGAN AVENUE, 1813 NINTH STREET, 1005 PICO BOULEVARD, 1125 PICO BOULEVARD, 1054 PRINCETON STREET, all within the City of Santa Monlca. SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of said Code, the Clty Council does hereby order and declare that on the 9th day of August 1994, at 6:30 p.m., in the City Councll Chambers of City Hall, 1685 Main street, Santa Monica, it will hear and - 4 - - e e . . pass upon the report by the Superlntendent of streets of the cost of repairs, together with objections or protests, if any, which may be raised by any property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repairs and any other interested persons. SECTION 3. All protests or objections must be in writing and filed with the Clty Clerk on or before the tlme set for the hearing of the protests and objections. SECTION 4. The Superintendent of streets is hereby directed to r.lall notices, in the manner and form prescribed by law, of the costs of repalr and of the adoptlon of thlS Resolution to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to the City Clerk. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
