A RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE
CITY OP SANTA MONICA
DIRECTING THE PLANNING COMHISBION TO INITIATE
A TEXT AMENDMENT OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OP THE CITY OP SANTA MONICA
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the Santa Monica Municipal Code,
Article IX, Chapter 1, Subchapter 9.04.20, Part 9.90.20.16, the
City Council does hereby give notice of its intention to direct the
Planning commission to initiate a text amendment to the zoning
Ordinance of the city of Santa Monica, to establish development
standards for the Civic Center District in compliance with and to
implement the Civic Center Specific Plan.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
