A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA ORDERING THE TREE PLANTING AND
APPURTENANT \..;oRK ON COLORADO AVENUE BETWEEN 7TH
STREET AND 14TH STREET
WHEREAS; the city Councll of the Clty of Santa Monlca,
on the 13th day of July, 1993, adopted Resolutlon No. 8623 (CCS)
setting a publlc hearlngi and
WHEREAS, wrltten notices and postlng of sald tree
planting have been glven In the manner requlred by law; and
WHEREAS, any and all wrltten Ob]ectlons and protests to
the work of the extent of the dlstrlct to be assessed were heard
and considered by the Clty Councll,
NOW, THEREFORE, 'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The
publlC
convenlence
and
necesslty
required the tree plantlng and appurtenant \vork along Colorado
Avenue between 7th Street and l~th Street.
SECTION 2.
All protests and ob] ections of every kind
and nature to the proposed work are hereby overruled and denled.

SECTION 3.
The Clty Clerk shall
certl fy to the
adoptlon of this Resolution, and thereafter the same shall be ln
full force and effect.
