A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CONCRETE GUTTERS, STREET RESURFACING, SIDE~'lALK,
DRIVEWAY AND CURB REPAIRS AND THE REMOVAL OF
DAMAGED PAR~~AY PAVEMENT AND APPURTENANT WORK ON
VARIOUS CITY STREETS, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY
1992-93 STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM
HHEREAS, the City CouncIl of the CIty of Santa
Monica,
on the
13th
day of April,
1993,
adopted
ResolutIon No. 8571 (CCS) settIng a public hearing: and
WHEREAS, wrItten notices and postIng of saId
Improvements have been given l.n the Manner required by
la\v; and
HHEREAS, any and all \lrltten objectIons and protests to
the work of the extent of the distrIct to be assessed were heard
and considered by the Clty Council,
NOH I 'THEREFORE I THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The
public
convenience
and
necessity
required the constructIon of concrete gutters, street resurfacing
and repa1.r of danaged S1.de'ilalks, drl velvays I and curbs and the
removal of damaged pavement in parkway areas along:

SECTION 2.
All protests and obj ectIons of every kInd
and nature to the proposed work are overruled and denIed.
SECTION 3.
Pursuant to streets and HIghways Code
Section 5880, the Street Superlntendent IS directed to commence
the constructlon of concrete gutters and street resurfacing slxty
(60) days after giving notice. Section 5614 calls for the Street
Superintendent to repaIr damaged sldewalks, drIveways and curbs

SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoption of this Resolution, and thereafter the same shall be In
full force and effect.
