RESOLUTION NUMBER 8592 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE
ON JULY 13/ 1993/ FOR ANY PROTESTS OR
OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT
OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS, CURBS AND THE REMOVAL OF DAMAGED
PAVEMENT IN PARKWAY AREA (SR-93-188)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The Superintendent of streets will file a
report of repalr pursuant to section 5617 of the Streets and
H1ghways Code of the state of California, relatlng to the
construction of certain improvements to sl.dewalks and drl.veways at
422 20th Street, 1033 24th Street, 514 25th Street, 602 25th
street, 2445 Cloverfield Boulevard, 1437 Franklln Street, 1636
Franklin Street, 1638 Franklin street, 1215 Grant Street, 1315
Grant street, 2115 Main street, 1733 Plne street, 1739 pine Street,
1402 San Vicente Boulevard, and 802 Third street, all with~n the
City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et seq. of said Code,
the city Councll does hereby order and declare that on the 13th day
of July 1993, at 6:30 p.m., In the city council Chambers of City
Hall, 1685 Main Street, it will hear and pass upon the report by
the Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repairs, together
with objections or protests, if any, which may be raised by any
property owner liable to be assessed far the cost of such repairs
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. All protests or obJections must be in writing
and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for the
hearing of the protests and objections.
SECTION 4.
The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mail notices, in the manner and form prescribed by law,
of the costs of repair and of the adoption of thl.S Resolution to
all persons owning real property affected by the sldewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equalized assessment roll for the city taxes or as known to
the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The C1ty Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be In full force and effect.
