A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON APRIL 13, 1993, TO HEAR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE CONFIRMATION OF ASSESSMENT OF
COSTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE GUTTERS, STREET
RESURFACING, SIDEWALK, DRIVEWAY AND CURB REPAIRS AND THE
REMOVAL OF PAVEMENT IN PARKWAY AREAS AND APPURTENANT WORK ON
VARIOUS CITY STREETS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 1991-92
STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 5870 et seq. of said Code, the City
Council does hereby order and deelare that on the 13th day of April, 1993, at
6:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 1t will hear and pass
upon the report by the Superintendent of Streets, of the cost of improvement

together with any objectlons or protests, if any, which may be raised by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such improvement and any
other lnterested persons.
SECTION 3. All protests or obJections must be in wrlting and filed with
the City Clerk on or before the t1me set for the hearlng of the protests and
objections.
SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed to mail
not1ces, in the manner and form prescrlbed by law, of the cost of improvement
and of the adoption of this Resolution to all persons owning commercial,
industrial, or resldent1al real property 1n the hereinbefore described
assessment di stri ct whose names and addresses appear on the 1 ast equal ized
assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk is directed to publish this Resolution once a
week in The Outlook for three successive weeks. The first publication is to
be made not less than 45 days prior to the date of the above public hearing.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
