RESOLUTION NO. 8512(CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH
THE ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM ASSOCIATES
WHEREAS, the city administration and representatives of
the Administrative Team Associates have met and conferred under the
terms of Ordinance No. 801 (CCS) and have reached agreement on an
amendment to the current Memorandum of Understanding covering the
wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment; and
WHEREAS, section 2.06 of Ordinance No. 801 (CCS) of the
City of Santa Monica requires preparation of a written Memorandum
of Understanding, including any amendments to said Memorandum of
understanding, between the administration and employees if an
agreement can be reached; and
WHEREAS, Section 2.06 of Ordinance No. 801 (CCS) further
provides that any such Memorandum of Understanding, and any
amendments to said Memorandum of Understanding, shall not be
binding unless and until presented to the governing body for
determination; and

WHEREAS, the purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding,
and any amendments to said Memorandum of Understanding, is to
promote and provide harmonious- relations, cooperation, and
understanding between the the City and the Administrative Team
Associates;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the city of Santa Monica
does hereby approve and authorize the city Manager to execute the
amendment to the Me1l1orandum of Understanding executed by the
Administrative Team Associates, a copy of which is attached hereto.
Section 2. The city Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.

AMENDMENT
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN
CITY' OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA
AND
ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM ASSOCIATES
The term of the current Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between
the city of santa Monica and the Administrative Team Associates is
from July 1, 1991 through June 30, 1993. Both parties to said MOU
agreed to reopen the MOU for the purpose of meetinq and conferring
to modify certain sections of the MOU. The modifications to the
MOU which have been agreed to by both parties are set forth herein.
Said modifications to the MOU shall be effective as of July 1,
1992. Except as specified below, the remainder of the Memorandum
of Understanding remains unchanged.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this amendment
to the current Memorandum of Understanding to be executed this
