A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ACCEPTING MODIFICATIONS TO THE LAND USE PLAN
OF THE LOCAL COASTAL PROGRAM DOCUMENT
WHEREAS, on October 15, 1991, the city Council adopted and
approved the Local Coastal Program document, containing the Land
Use Plan and Implementation Plan, for submission to the California
Coastal Commission for certification; and
WHEREAS, on July 28, 1992, the City Council adopted and
approved a Resolution authorizing the withdrawal of the
Implementation Plan section of the Local coastal Program document
from consideration by the California Coastal Commission; and
WHEREAS, on August 11, 1992 the California Coastal
Commission certified the Land Use Plan with respect to certain
geographic areas of the city and with suggested modifications,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Public Resources Code section 30512,
the city Council adopts the suggested modifications to the Local
Coastal Program Land Use Plan, as certified by the California
Coastal commission, and submits its approval to the Commission.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth the same shall be in full force
and effect.

was duly adopted by the City council of the city of Santa Monica
at a meeting thereof held on September l5, 1992 by the following
