A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA HONICA FINDING THAT THE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE
AND NECESSITY REQUIRES THE CONSTRUCTION OF
STREETLIGHTING, REPLACEMENT OF DETERIORATED
STREETLIGHTS AND APPURTENANT HORK AND ORDERS WORK
TO BEGIN ON VARIOUS CITY STREETS AS SET FORTH IN
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NUMBER 8413 (CCS)
WHEREAS, the City Counc~l of the city of Santa Monica, on
the 9th day of June 1992, passed and adopted its Resolution of
Intention, belng Resolutlon No. 8413 (CCS), declarlng lts intention
to order T",ork descrlbed thereln to be done, WhlCh Resolutlon of
Intentlon duly and legally was publlshed as required by law and
notlce of said improvement has been given ln the manner required by
law and all written Ob]ectlons and protests to the proposed work or
the extent of the dlstrlct to be assessed were heard and consldered
by the CIty Councll~ and
\~EREAS, a publlC hearlng has been held duly and regularly
pursuant to Resolutlon No. 8413 (CCS) and the laws and Constltution
of the State of Callfornla on the proposed constructlon of
streetllghtlng,
replacement of deterlorated streetlightlng and
appurtenance work thereto, as descrIbed ln the Resolutlon No. 8413
(CCS), on

The CIty Councll hereby fInds and determines
further that the I1Speclal AssessDent I~vestlgatlon, Llnltatlon, and
r1a]Orlty Protest Act of 1931" shall not apply to the nakIng of sa.ld
~mprovement.

sealed proposals or blds for dOlng the work ordered and referrlng to
the speclficatlons on file and to publish a notlce invlting such
proposals for two days In The cutlooK, a nevlspaper publlshed and
circulated ln sald Clty.
SECTION 5. Reference hereby IS ~ade to Resolutlon Ko. 8413
(CCS) for a descrlption of ~he ,..'ork, the assessr.em: dlstrlct, the
bonds to be issued, and for further partlculars.
SECTION 6. The city Clerk shall certlfy to the adoptlon of
thlS Resolutlon, and tr.enceforth and thereafter the same shall be in
full force and effect.
