A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
WITHDRAWING TRANSMITTAL OF THE IMPLEMENTATION
PLAN OF THE LOCAL COASTAL PROGRAM
TO THE CALIFORNIA COASTAL COMMISSION
WHEREAS, on October IS, 1991, the City council of the City
of Santa Monica adopted Resolution Number 8307(CCS) authorizing
transmittal of the approved Local Coastal program to the
California Coastal Commission for its consideration; and
WHEREAS, the city Councll wishes to withdraw consideration
of the Implementation Plan of the Local Coastal program from
Callfornia Coastal Commission conslderation,
NOH, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The city Council does hereby withdraw its
previous transmlttal of the Implementation Plan of the approved
Local Coastal Program from consideration by the California
Coastal Commisslon.
SECTION 2.
This Resolution shall not affect the previous
transmittal of the Land Use Plan of the approved Local Coastal
Program to the California Coastal Commission for conslderatlon,
pursuant to Public Resources Code section 30511(b).

SECTION 3. The city Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
1n full force and effect.
