RESOLUTION NO. 8372 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA AMENDING RESOLUTION
NUMBER 8364 (CCS), AND HOLDING A PUBLIC
HEARING ON APRIL 14, 1992 FOR THE
CONFIRMATION OF ASSESSMENT OF COSTS FOR
GUTTER CONSTRUCTION, STREET RESURFACING AND
THE REPAIR OF DAMAGED SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS
AND CURBS AND THE REMOVAL OF HAZARDOUS
PARKWAY PAVINGS ON VARIOUS CITY STREETS IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE 1990-91 STREET
RESURFACING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on March 3, 1992, the City Council voted to
set a public hearing for March 24, 1992 pursuant to Resolution
Number 8364 (CCS) for the purpose of confirming the assessment of
costs for the purpose of gutter construction, street resurfacing
and the repair of damaged sidewalks, driveways, curbs and the
removal of hazardous parkway pavings on various city streets; and
WHEREAS, Resolution Number 8364 (CCS) inadvertently
included the incorrect date of public hearing for the
confirmation of assessment of costs,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS~
SECTION 1.
Section 2 of Resolution Number 8364 (CCS)
is amended as follows:
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 5870 et seq.
of the Streets and Highways Code, the Ci ty
Council does hereby order and declare that on

the 14th of April, 1992, at 7:30 p.m., in the
City Council Chambers of City Hall, located
at 1685 Main street, it will hear and pass
upon the report by the Superintendent of
Streets, of the cost of improvements together
with any objections or protests, if any,
which may be raised by any property owner
liable to be assessed for the cost of such
improvements
any
other
interested
and
persons.
SECTION 2.
The city Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
