RESOLUTION NO.

(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR FY 1992 HOME
FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development is
currently accepting applications from qualified jurisdictions for
FY 1992 Home Funds which can be used for the construction or
rehabilitation of affordable housing, and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica is a qualified jurisdiction
and proposes to apply for $1,091,000 in HOME Funds,
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council approves the submission of an
application for $1,091,000 in FY 1992 HOME Funds.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to submit an
application on behalf of the city of Santa Monica and to execute
the contract if the application is approved.
SECTION 3. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
