RESOLUTION NO. 8346 (CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 8317 (CCS), AND ADDING COMPLETION DATES
FOR THE PLACEMENT OF ELECTRIC POWER LINES
UNDERGROUND IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement of areas known as
D1strict 1, Fourteenth street between Pearl street and Ocean
Boulevard and District 2, Olympic Boulevard between Fifth Street
and Eleventh street includlng the Llncoln Boulevard on and off
ramps to the Santa Monica Freeway by undergroundlng of utilities
and appurtenant work were approved on October 29, 1991 by
Resolution Number 8317 (CCS); and
WHEREAS, on October 29, 1991, the City Council voted to
establish these underground utility districts pursuant to
Resolutlon Number 8317 (CCS); and
WHEREAS, Resolution Number 8317 (CCS) inadvertently
falled to include dates for the completion of work ln Dlstrlcts 1
and 2,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Resolut1on Number 8317 (CCS) lS amended as
follows:

Sectlon t.
The City Councll hereby orders that work in District 1
e
be completed prlor to October 1, 1993 and that the work
in Dlstrict 2 be completed prior to October 1, 1994.
SECTION 2.
The city Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of thls Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
