RESOLUTION NO. 8336(CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA FINDING THE PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRES THE
CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE PAVEMENT AND
APPURTENANT WORK AND ORDERS WORK TO BEGIN
ON LINCOLN COURT BETWEEN OLYMPIC
BOULEVARD AND MICHIGAN AVENUE AS SET
FORTH IN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NUMBER
8324 (CCS)
WHEREAS, the Clty Council of the city of Santa Monlca,
on the 12th day of November 1991, passed and adopted its
Resolutlon of Intentlon, being Resolution No. 8324 (CCS) setting
a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, Resolutlon of Intention duly and legally was
published as requlred by law and written notice of said
improvement has been given In the manner requlred by law; and
WHEREAS, any and all written obJections and protests to
the proposed work or the extent of the district to be assessed
were heard and considered by the City Council; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The public convenience and necessity
requires the construction of concrete pavement and appurtenant
work on LINCOLN COURT BETWEEN OLYMPIC BOULEVARD AND MICHIGAN
AVENUE, within the Clty of Santa Monica.

SECTION 2. All protests and objections of every kind
and nature to the construction of concrete pavement and
appurtenant work on LINCOLN COURT BETWEEN OLYMPIC BOULEVARD AND
MICHIGAN AVENUE, as described in Section 1, within the City of
Santa Monica, be, and the same are hereby, overruled and denied.
SECTION 3.
Pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code
Section 5880, the Street superintendent is directed to commence
the construction of concrete pavement and appurtenant work above-
described after a sixty (60) day period after giving notices
wherever the property owners have not started the alley
reconstruction themselves.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of the Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
