RESOLUTION NUMBER 8323{CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED
ZONES ADJACENT TO 823 19TH STREET, 2516 26TH STREET,
AND 1230 GEORGINA AVENUE
WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Santa
Mon1ca has enacted an ordinance enabling individuals to request
parking zones for physically handicapped persons; and
WHEREAS, the City has received
requests for
park1ng zones for the physically handicapped; and
WHEREAS, the Parking and Traffic Engineer has
considered the requests and concluded, based upon the factors
stated in Municipal Code section 3366A,
that physically
hand1capped zones may be installed at the requested locations,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. A zone for the physically handicapped
15 hereby established adjacent to 823 19th street.
SECTION 2. A zone for the physically handicapped
1S hereby established adjacent to 2516 26th street.
SECTION 3. A zone for the physically handicapped
1S hereby established adjacent to 1230 Georgina Avenue.

SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
