RESOLUTION NO. 7434
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA REQUESTING THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES TO PROVIDE AS-NEEDED TRACT AND PARCEL
MAP EXAMINATIONS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
WHEREAS, updated tract and parcel maps are required in
conjunction with property development: and
WHEREAS, the city or county Engineer is required to
review and approve the legal property descriptions on said maps;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica has requested the
County of Los Angeles to complete tract and parcel map
examinations for the City when necessary; and
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has requested that
this service agreement be formalized,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The City Manager of the city of Santa
Monica is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the
County of Los Angeles providing for tract and parcel map
examination.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption
of this Resol ution and, thenceforth and thereafter, the same
shall be in full force and effect.
