R-7418 e e t RESOLUTION NO. 7418 (CCS) (CITY COUNCIL SERIES) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING PUBLIC HEARING FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE CONFIRMATION OF ASSESSMENTS FOR INSTALLATION OF STREETLIGHTS ON HILL STREET BETWEEN 23RD AND 25TH STREETS; YALE AND HARVARD STREETS BETWEEN COLORADO AND SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD: 9th, 12th, and PRINCETON STREETS BETWEEN WILSHIRE BOULEVARD AND SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD; AND FRANKLIN STREET FROM WILSHIRE TO APPROXIMATELY 1800' NORTHWESTERLY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Superintendent of Streets will file a report of work pursuant to Section 5882 of the streets and Highways Code of the state of California, relating to the installation of streetlights on Hill Street between 23rd and 25th streets: Yale and Harvard streets between Colorado and Santa Monica Boulevard; 9th, 12th, and princeton streets between wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard, Franklin street from Wilshire to approximately 18001 Northwesterly, all within the city of Santa Monica. SECTION 2. Pursuant to Sections 5870 et. seq. of said Code, the City council does hereby order and declare that on the 26th day of May, 1987, in the council Chambers of City Hall, it will hear and pass upon any and all Objections or protests to the report of work of the superintendent of Streets, and the amount of the assessment levied against the real property in said report. e e SECTION 3. All protests or objections must be in writing and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of protests and objections. SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to mail notices, in the manner and form prescribed by law, of the adoption of this Resolution to all persons owning real property in the hereinbefore described assessment district whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to the City Clerk. A Notice of Assessment shall also be published in the Evening Outlook for two consecutive days fifteen days prior to the public hearing. SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect. APPROVED AS TO FORM: ~ \.-. \...-- IT ROBERT M.
