RESOLUTION NO. 74
(Housing Authority Series)
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
APPROVING ITS BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1999-00
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for the fiscal year 1999-00 was submitted to the
Housing Authonty not less than thIrty-five (35) days pnor to July 1, 1999, and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authonty held a public heanng on said budget after a notice
of said budget hearrng was published not less than ten (10) days prror thereto, and
WHEREAS, after saId public heanng, the Housrng Authonty considered further Its
proposed budget,
NOW THEREFORE, THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA REBOl YES AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1. The budget as submitted by the City Manager and revIsed by the
Housing Authonty, entItled "City of Santa MOnica, Proposed Budget, 1999-00" (Budget), IS hereby
approved and adopted In adoptmg the Budget. the Housing Authonty Intends to, and by this
Section does, adopt and approve the total operatmg appropriatIon consIsting of Salanes and

Wages, Supplies and Expenses and Capital Outlay, and revenue detail The City Manager IS
authorized to allot as appropriated A copy of the Budget IS attached hereto as Exhibit A
SECTION 2 A cert,fled copy of the Budget shall be filed with the Director of
Finance/City Controller and wIth the City Clerk, and certified caples of the Budget shall be
reproduced and made available for use as dIrected by SectIon 1505 of the Charter of said City
SECTION 3 In adoptmg the Budget, the Housing Authority does hereby
reappropnate the unencumbered balances and unexpended encumbrances of the fiscal year
1998-99 Capital Improvements budget In an amount not to exceed $36,212
SECTION 4 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of thiS Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be In full force and effect
