A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ORDERING THE VACATION OF A
WALKWAY BETWEEN CEDAR AND PEARL STREETS WEST
OF 20TH STREET IN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA,
CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the city of Santa
Monica, having heard the evidence offered in relation to the
proposed vacation of a walkway between Cedar and Pearl Streets
west of 20th Street as shown on Map of Tract No. 12196 recorded
in Map Book 256, page 32, in the office of the Recorder of Los
Angeles county, hereby finds from all of the evidence submitted
that the portion of the alley above referred to and proposed to
be vacated by Resolution No. 7364 (City council Series) is
unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and is
consistent with the General Plan of the City of Santa Monica.
For full particulars reference hereby is made to said Resolution
No. 7364 (City Council Series) and to Map No. 4338 on file in the
office of the City Clerk of said CitY7 which map is entitled,
IIMap showing walkway between Cedar and Pearl Streets to be
Vacated Under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941,"
dated January 20, 1987.

SECTION 2. The walkway between Cedar and Pearl streets
west of 20th street as shown on the city of Santa Monica Drawing
No. 4338, dated January 20, 1987, is hereby vacated.
SECTION 3. Pursuant to streets and Highways Code
section 83251, the City Clerk shall also cause a copy of this
Resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorded of
the County of Los Angeles. Upon such recording, the vacations
shall be complete.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
