RESOLUTION NO. 7346 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AMENDMENT TO THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
WITH THE SUPERVISORY TEAM ASSOCIATION
(STA)
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica and the Supervisory Team
ASSOCiation (STA) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding in
June, 1985; and
WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of the City and STA to
amend certaln terms of that Memorandum of Understanding;
NOrl, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager 15 hereby authorized to
execute the accompanying Agreement amending the Memorandum of
Understanding between the Clty of Santa Monica and STA.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.

AGREEMENT AMENDING
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
THIS AGREEMENT entered into thlS day of
, 1986, by and between the CITY OF SANTA MONICA, a
munlcipal corporatlon (herel.nafter "Cl.ty") and the Supervl.sory
Team ASSOcIation {hereinafter "STA") IS made wIth reference to
the following:
RECITALS
A. The City and STA entered tnto a Memorandum of
Understandl.ng 1n June, 1985, entitled "Memorandum of
Understandl.ng Between Clty of Santa Monlca, Californla and
Supervisory Team Assoclation {STA)" (herel.nafter "MOU").
B. It is the mutual desl.re of City and STA to amend
certaln of the terms of the MOU.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed by and between City
and STA as follows:
1. On and after January 1, 1987, a new sectlon "Section
50, 'Bonus Pay'" 1S added as follows:

Any Sr. Groundskeeper that 15 required by the Cl ty to
possess a Cal1fornia State Pest Control Applicator IS
License shall receive a monthly bonus of $40.
