RESOLUTION NO. 7291(CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS RBGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-86-88)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Superintendent of Streets wIll fIle a
repor t of repair pursuant to See tIon 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of CalIfornIa, relating to the
constructIon of certain Improvements to sidewalks and driveways
at 2107 MaIn Street, 824 Maple Street, 1008 Maple Street, 818
Maple Stree t, 1015 Chel sea Street, 1305 2nd Street, 210 25th
Street, 339 10th Street, 918 PrInceton Street, 2118 Navy Street,
636 20tn Street, 533 22nd Street, 2211 Mar ine Str eet, 443 12th
Street, 2020 MarIne Street, 1514 5th Street, and 3201 Pearl
Street, all withIn the Clty of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2.
Pursuant to SectIon 5600 et seq. of saId
code, the Clty Councll does hereby order and declare that on the
23rd day of September, 1986, at 7:30 P.M., In the CouncIl
Chambers of the CIty Hall, it WIll hear and pass upon the report
by the Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repalr, together
wIth any obJectIons or protests, if any, WhICh may be raised by
any property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such
repaIr and any other Interested persons.

SECTION 3. All protests or Ob)ectlons must be in writlng
and flIed W1 th the Ci ty Cler k on or before the time set for
hearing of protests and ObJections.
SECTION 4. The Superlntendent of Streets 1S hereby
directed to mall notlces, 1n the manner and form prescr lbed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoptlon of thlS Resolutlon
to all persons owning real property affected by the sldewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalized assessment roll for the Clty taxes or as known
to the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the adopting
of thlS Resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
