RESOLUTION NO. 7275(CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR
ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE CONFIRMATION
OF ASSESSMENTS FOR STREETLIGHTING ON VARIOUS
STREETS, ALL WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1. The Superlntendent of Streets wlll flle a
report of work pursuant to SectIon 5882 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of Callfornia, relatlng to the
lnstallation of street llghting completed on; CalIfornIa Street
between 18th and 20th Streets, 26th Street between P1CO Boulevard
and Pearl Street, 14th Street between Wilshire and Santa Monica
Boulevards and Berkeley Street between Wllshlre and Santa MonIca
Boulevards, all WIthIn the Clty of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Seetlon 5870, et seq. of said
Code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on the
9th day of September, 1986, In the Council Chambers of the City
Hall, lt wlll hear and pass upon any and all obJections or
protests to the report of work of the SuperIntendent of Streets,
and the amount of the assessment asslgned agaInst the real
property described in sald report.
SECTION 3. All protests or objectIons must be in
wrltlng and filed with the Clty Clerk on or before the time set
for hearing of protests and Ob]ectlons.

SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby dIrected to mall
notices, in the manner and form prescrlbed by law, of the
adoption of this resolution to all persons owning real property
In the hereinbefore described assessment distrIct whose names and
addresses appear on the last equalIzed assessment roll for the
CIty taxes or as known to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. That the Clty Clerk shall certIfy to the
adoption of thlS ReSOlution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
