RESOLUTION NO. 7274(CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-86-81)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Superintendent of Streets will file a
report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Callfornia, relating to the
construct lon of certa in improvements to sldewalks and dr 1 veways
at lJ75 25th Street, 1701+ Oak Street, 2010 Navy Street, 818 2nd
Street, 1131 2nd Street, 204 Californla Street, 1233 6th Street,
509 19th Street, 716 20th Street, 708 20th Street, 1807 Oak
Street, and 1920 Alta Avenue, all within the City of Santa
Monica.
SECTlON 2.
Pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of sald
code, the Clty Council does hereby order ard declare that on the
9th day of September, 1986, at 7=30 P.M., In the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, lt will hear and pass upon the report by the
Superinter.dent of Streets of the cost of repair, together with
any obJectlons or protests, if any, which may be ralsed by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and ar-y other ir.terested persons.

SECTION 3.

All protests or objectIons must be In writing
and flIed wi th the City Clerk on or before the time set for
hearlng of protests and obJections.
SECTION 4.
The SuperIntendent of Streets IS hereby
dlrected to mall notIces, In the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of this ResolutIon
to all persons own ipg real property affected by the sidewalk
assessmen t repaIr progr am, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equallzed assessment roll for the CIty taxes or as known
to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoptlng
of thIS Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
