A RESOLU'fION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DAl'E FOR ANY PROTES'rS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (8R-86-86)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION L The Super intendent of Streets w1ll fIle a
report of repaIr pursuant to Sect10n 5617 of the Streets and
HIghways Code of the State of Californ1a, relating to the
construction of certain lmprovements to sidewalks and driveways
at 3117 5th Street, 910 lath Street, 2469 Hill Street, 1024
Centine1a Avenue, l030 Centinela Avenue, 960 lOth Street, 1318
Broadway Avenue, 855 10th Street, 841 10th Street, 1421 & 1423
5th Street, and 1417 6th Street, all W~ thin the Ci ty of Santa
Monica..
SECTION 2..
Pur suan t to Sec t10n 5600 et seq.. of sald
code, the City CouncIl does hereby order and declare that on the
26th day of August, 1986, at 7:30 P..M.., In the Councll Chambers
of the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report by the
Super intendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together with
any obJections or protests, If any, which may be raised by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other Interested persons..

SECTION 3. All protests or objectlons must be in writ~ng
and flIed wi th the C~ ty Cler k on or before the time set for
hearlng of protests and obJections.
SECTION 4.
The Superlntendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mall notlces, ln the manner and form prescr ibed by
law, of the cost of repa~r and of the adoption of this Resolut~on
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalized assessment roll for the Clty taxes or as known
to the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The C~ty Clerk shall certify to the adopting
of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
