RESOLUTION NO. 7250(CCS)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SUPPLEMENT
NO. 2 TO AGREEMENT NO. FA65WE-1194
(#1650 CCS) WITH THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA FEDERAL AVIATION
ADMINISTRATION TO PERMIT INSTALLATION
OF NON-DIRECTIONAL BEACON ANTENNA AT
SANTA MONICA AIRPORT
WHEREAS, the Unlted States of Amerlca, Federal AVlation
AdmlnlstratIon and the Clty of Santa Monlca agreed to the lease
of an 0.48 acre Slte on the Santa Monica Alrport for the
InstallatIon of a Remote Transmltter Recelver 1n August of 1965;
and
WHEREAS. the Government of the Unlted States now deSIres to
modlfy that Agreement to permlt the FAA to lnstall a new
Non-Dlrectlonal Beacon Antenna on the slte; and
WHEREAS~ the proposed Antenna wlll enhance weather data
informatlon and naVIgatIonal aid to the aVl.atlon pUbllc 1n the
Los Angeles Basl.n.
