RESOLUTION NO. 7249(CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-86-85)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Superintendent of Streets WIll file a
report of repal r pursuant to Sect ion 5617 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of Callfornla, relatlng to the
construc t ion of certaln Improvements to sidewalks and dr 1 veways
at 1730 Cedar Street, 1130 Georglna Avenue, 1117 Grant Street,
1337 Grant Street, 423 Hill Street, 2941 Maln Street, 737 Ozone
Street, 312 Pacific Street, 117 Strand Street, 101-103 Strand
Street, 121 Strand Street, 1718 Sunset Avenue, 2612 Washlngton
Avenue, 1801-1807 9th Street, 2402 11th Street, 407 12th Street,
603 14th Street, 2625 24th Street, 2267 25th Street, and 2615
Washington Avenue, all wlthin the CIty of Santa MonIca.
SECTION 2.
Pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of said
code, the City Councll does hereby order and declare that on the
12th day of August, 1986, at 7: 30 P. M., in the CouncIl Chambers
of the CIty Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together with
any objections or protests, if any, WhICh may be raised by any
property owner lIable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. All protests or objections must be in writing
and filed Wl th the City Clerk on or before the time set for
hearlng of protests and objectlons.
SECTION 4.
The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mall notices, in the manner and form prescrIbed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of thlS Resolutlon
to all persons ownIng real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equallzed assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certIfy to the adopting
of thlS Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
