RESOLUTION NO. 7239(CCS}

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-86-84)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Super lntendent of Streets will flle a
report of repaJ..r pursuant to Sectl.on 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of CalJ..fornia, relating to the
constr uction of cer taJ..n lmprovements to sidewalks and dr lveways
at 2215 Mar lne Street, 228 Eucll.d Street, 2101 Ashland Avenue,
238 19th Street, 1625 AShland Avenue, 434 14th Street, 2504 32nd
Street, 1002 Washl.ngton Avenue, 404 21st Street, 1620 Ashland
Avenue, and 1410 15th Street, all withln the CJ..ty of Santa
Monlca.
SECTION 2.
Pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et seg. of sald
cOde, the City Councll does hereby order and declare that on the
22nd day of July, 1986, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of
the Cl. ty Hall, 1. t Wl.ll hear and pass upon the report by the
Super lntendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together Wl. th
any obj ectlons or protests, l.f any, WhlCh may be ralsed by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repalr
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. All protests or object~ons must be ~n writ~ng
and f~led with the C~ty Clerk on or before the t~me set for
hearIng of protests and objectIons.
SECTION 4.
The SuperIntendent of Streets is hereby
dIrected to ma~l notIces, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repaIr and of the adoption of this Resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalIzed assessment roll for the CIty taxes or as known
to the CIty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The CIty Clerk shall certify to the adopting
of thIS Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
