A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COGNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA AUTHORIZING THE HOLDING OF A PARADE ON JUNE
6, 1992 ON A ROUTE OTHER THAN THE OFFICIAL CITY
PARADE ROUTE
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 4241 of the Santa Monica
Municipal Code, the City council may authorize a parade route as
set forth herein,
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That on June 6, 1992, between the hours of
10:00 and 11:00 a.m. participants in the Kids Day Parade are
authorized to conduct a parade along the following route:
The parade will start in the Santa Monica city
Hall parking lot and proceed north on Main Street to
Colorado Avenue, head west on Colorado Avenue, cross
Ocean Avenue and proceed on to the pier ramp to the
West end of the Pier.
SECTION 2. permission to conduct the parade is granted
upon the following conditions:
a. Parade units will be brought to the staging area,
the City Hall parking lot prior to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June
6, 1992.
b. The necessary number of police officers, as
recommended by the Santa Monica Police Department, will be
provided for crowd and traffic control along the parade route.

SECTION 3. The City clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be ln full force and effect.
