AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA REPEALING
VARIOUS SECTIONS OF THE SANTA MONICA
MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Sections 3320, 3358, 3358A, 3359, 3360,
3378, 3380, 3381, 3501, 3502, 3503, 3504, 3507, 3508, 3700,
3700A, 3700B, 3700C, 37000, 3700E, 3700F, 3700G, 3700H,
37001, 3700J, 3701, 3701A, 3701B, 3701B1, 3701B2, 3701B3,
3701B4, 3701B5, 3701B6, 3701B7, 3701B8, 3701C, 37010, 3701E,
3701F, 3701G, 3702, 3703, 3704, 3705, 3706, 3707, 3708, 3709,

of the Santa Monica Municipal Code are hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. Any provis1on of the Santa Monica Municipal
Code or appendices thereto inconsistent with the provlsions
of this ordinance, to the extent of such inconsistencies and
no further, is hereby repealed or modified to that extent
necessary to affect the provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. If any section, subsection, sentence,
clause, or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to
be invalid or unconstitutional by a decision of any court of
competent jur1sdiction, such decision shall not affect the
val1dity of the remaining portions of the ordinance. The
C1ty CounC11 hereby declares that it would have passed this
ordinance and each and every section, subsection, sentence,
clause, or phrase not declared invalid or unconstitutional
without regard to whether any portion of the ordinance would
be subsequently declared invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 4. The Mayor shall sign and the City Clerk
shall attest to the passage of th1s ordinance. The City
Clerk shall cause the same to be published once in the
official newspaper WIthin 15 days after its adoption. The
ordinance shall become effective 30 days from its adoption.
