AN ill4ERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
APPROPRIATING $1,622,011 FOR THE
REASONABLE AND NECESSARY EXPENSES
OF THE RENT CONTROL BOARD AND
ADl'4INISTRATION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA HEREBY
ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The sum of $1,622,Oll, belng the estimated
recelpts derived from the annual rent control registratlon fees
for the f~scal year 1980-l9Bl, is hereby appropriated for the
necessary and reasonable expenses of the Rent Control Board and
Adminlstrat~on.
SECTION 2. This ord~nance 1S hereby declared to be an
emergency ordinance pursuant to Section 615 and 619 (d) of the City
Charterl and shall become effect~ve 1mmediate1y upon adoptlon.
The Mayor shall sign and the Clerk shall attest to the pasBage of
th1S ord~nancel and thereafter 1t shall be i~,fyll force 9n~ effect.
