CITY OF SANTA ~m~ICA A.MENDING SECTION 10121
OF THF. SA1\'JTA r-10NICA ~I[PJICIPAL C0DE 'REGARDING
TIP, DOWN FEES AND FANGAR RENTAL AT THE
SANTA MONICA AIRPORT
~HE CITY COU~CIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ~ONICA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Sectlon 10121 of the Santa ~onica Munlcipal Code 1S
repealed in its entirety and lS amended to read:
Section 10121. Tying Down Fees and Hangar Rental.
For the tying down or parking of alrcraft on the
alrport, the fees or charges shall be pald by the
owner or operator of aircraft uSlng sald a1.rport.
The t~edown or parklng fees shall be a sum of
money based upon the length of the ~lnq span of the
aircraft in feet by the month, by the week, by the
day or by the half hour. The rental fee for all
T-hangars shall be a s1.ngle monthly tee. All fees
shall be set hy Cltv Councll Resolutlon.
SECTION 2. Any vrovision of the Santa Monica Municlpal Code
or appendices thereto inconslstent therew1.th, to the extent of such
inconslstencies and no further, are hereby repealed or modlflen to
that extent necessary to affect the provlsions of this ordlnance.
SEC7IO~ 3. If any section, sUbsection, sentence, clause, or
phrase of this ord~nance lS for any reason held to be lnvalld or
unconstitutlonal by a declslon of any court of any competent juris-
dlctlon, such decislon shall not affect the valldity of the remaining
portions of the ord1nance. The City Council hereby declares that
it would have passed thlS ordinance and each and every section,

unconstltutlonal w~thout regard to whether any portion of the
ord~nance would be subsequently declared invalld or unconstltutional.
SECTION 4. The ~ayor shall slgn and the City Clerk shall
attest to the passage of thlS ordlnanae. The City Clerk shall
cause the same to be publlshed once In the official newspaper
within flfteen (15) days after its adopt~on. The ordinance shall
become effectlve after thlrty (30) days from its adoptlon.
