The C1ty Council of the City of Santa Monica does
orda1n as follows.
5ECTIO~ 1. Section 6 of Ord1nance ~o. l120(CC5) 1S
amended to read as follows:
POLLS. The poll1ng places for sa1d election
shall be open at 7:00 A.:l. on the day of said e1ect1on and
shall remain open continuously from 7:00 A.M. until 8-00 P.'I.
on the same day when the polls shall close except as shall be
otherW1se provided by the Election Code of the State of
Ca11forn1a.
SECTION 2. The Mayor shall sign and the C1ty Clerk
shall attest to the passage of th1S oFdinance and 1t shall become
effective 1mmed1ate1y pursuant to Sect10n 619A of the Santa ~fon1ca
Mun1c1pal Charter. The City Clerk shall cause the sa~e to be
publ1shed once in the off1cial newspaper within f1fteen days after
its adopt1on.
