SECTION 1.
Section 9,.107a4 of the Santa Monica

SEC'Pl0N 4.
If any sectionJ subsection, sentence,
clause or phraee of~this ordinance is fQr-a~$'teason held to
~ invalid or unconstitutional by a decision of a~ court. of
competent jurisdiction, such ~ecision shall not affeat" the

validity of the remaining portions of the ordinance. The
City Council hereby d~clares that it-wOuld have passed this
ordinance and each and every section, subsection, sentence,
c~ause Or phrase~ot $ec~ared invalid or unconstitutional
without regard t.qwhether -any portion of 'the ordinance would
be sUbstantially declared ~rtvalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 5.
The Mayor 's~all sign and the City Clerk
shall ~ttest to the passage of this o~inance. The C1ty Clerk
shall ~ause the same to be published once in the official news-
paper within fifteen (15) days after its adopt1on. The
ordinance shall become effective after thirty (30) days from
its adoption.
