R-9857 RESOLUTION NO. - 9857 (CCS) (City Council Series) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING NEW CLASSIFICATIONS AND ADOPTING SALARY RATES FOR ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST - HUMAN SERVICES, ADMINISTRATIVE INTERN, ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF ASSISTANT - CULTURAL AFFAIRS, CAPITAL PROJECTS ENGINEER, CIVIC AUDITORIUM EVENT SERVICES SUPERVISOR, CIVIC AUDITORIUM MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR, CIVIC AUDITORIUM MANAGER, CIVIL ENGINEERING ASSISTANT, COMMUNITY SERVICES SPECIALIST IV - COMMUNITY RESOURCES, COMMUNITY SERVICES SPECIALIST IV - YOUTH FITNESS, COMMUNITY SERVICES SPECIALIST V- SPORTS, COMMUNITY SERVICES SPECIALIST V - TENNIS, DEPUTY POLICE CHIEF, DIRECTOR OF FINANCE/CITY CONTROLLER, EVENT BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR, HUMAN RESOURCES RECEPTIONIST, HVAC TECHNICIAN, MOTOR COACH OPERATOR TRAINEE, ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MANAGER, SOFTWARE SYSTEMS ANALYST - TRANSIT, TRAFFIC CONTROL OFFICER, TRANSIT FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT, TRANSIT VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT, WORKERS' COMPENSATION CLAIMS TECHNICIAN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The following monthly salary levels are hereby established, effective July 1, 2003, for the indicated permanent classifications: ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST - HUMAN SERVICES $5,087/Month Step 5 ADMINISTRATIVE INTERN $8.75/Hour Single Step ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF ASSISTANT - CULTURAL AFFAIRS $4,144/Month Step 5 CAPITAL PROJECTS ENGINEER $7,407/Month Step 5 $5,290/Month Step 5 CIVIC AUDITORIUM EVENT SERVICES SUPERVISOR CIVIC AUDITORIUM MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR $5,290/Month Step 5 CIVIC AUDITORIUM MANAGER $7,997/Month Step 5 $5,468/Month Step 5 $3,242/Month Step 5 CIVIL ENGINEERING ASSISTANT COMMUNITY SERVICES SPECIALIST IV - COMMUNITY RESOURCES COMMUNITY SERVICES SPECIALIST V - SPORTS $3,615/Month Step 5 DIRECTOR OF FINANCE/CITY CONTROLLER $10,862/Month Step 5 $6, 164/Month Step 5 $3,167/Month Step 5 $4,646/Month Step 5 EVENT BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR HUMAN RESOURCES RECEPTIONIST HVAC TECHNICIAN MOTOR COACH OPERATOR TRAINEE $1 0.50/Hour Single Step ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MANAGER $7,577/Month Step 5 SOFTWARE SYSTEMS ANALYST - TRANSIT $6,227/Month Step 5 TRAFFIC CONTROL OFFICER $17.19/Hour Single Step $6,906/Month Step 5 TRANSIT FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT TRANSIT VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT $6,906/Month Step 5 WORKERS' COMPENSATION CLAIMS TECHNICIAN $4, 122/Month Step 5 SECTION 2. The following monthly salary levels are hereby established, effective July 1, 2002, for the indicated permanent classifications: COMMUNITY SERVICES SPECIALIST IV - YOUTH FITNESS $3,145/Month Step 5 COMMUNITY SERVICES SPECIALIST V - TENNIS $3,506/Month Step 5 DEPUTY POLICE CHIEF $9,701/Month Step 5 SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
