A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
SUPPORTING THE CANDIDACY OF
GEORGE TIELSCH FOR SIXTH VICE
PRESIDENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL
ASSOCIATION OF CHIEFS OF POLICE
WHEREAS, GEORGE TIELSCH is the Chief of Police of
the City of Santa Monica; and
WHEREAS, George Tielsch is a candidate for Sixth
Vice President of the International Association of Chiefs of
Police; and
NOW, THEREFORE, TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the City Council of the City of
Santa Monica does support the candidacy of George Tielsch for
Sixth Vice President of the International Association of
Chiefs of Police.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
