A RESOLUTION OF THE PARKING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AND THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE PARKING
AUTHORITY TO AWARD A CONTRACT FOR
DEMOLITION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
REDEVELOPMENT AREA AND MAKING AN
AWARD OF THE SAME.
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority owns certain real
property located at the southwest corner of the intersection of
Broadway and Fourth Streets within the Downtown Redevelopment
Project area, which property is to be conveyed to the Redevelop-
ment Agency for redevelopment purposes pursuant to the Redevelop-
ment Plan for said Project; and
WHEREAS, certain improvements located on said property
must be demolished as a part of the implementation of said
Redevelopment Project; and
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority has received bids for
such demolition work in the manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, a permit has been issued for such work
pursuant to the California Coastal Zone Conservation Act of 1972;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Parking Authority and the Redevelop-
ment Agency of the City of Santa J\1onica do hereby resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1.
The Redevelopment Agency hereby
requests and authorizes the Parking Authority to duly award
a contract for the demolition of certain improvements located
on property owned by the Parking Authority located at the south-
west corner of the intersection of Broadway and Fourth Streets
within the Downtown Redevelopment Project area, pursuant to

said Redevelopment Plan and Coastal Act permit..
SECTION 2.
The Parking Authority agrees to let
a contract for the demolition of said property to the lowest
responsible bidder.
SECTION 3.
Alexander Land Clearinq, Inc.
has
submitted a bid to the Parking Authority in the amount of
which is the lowest and best bid.
SECTION 4.
A contract is hereby awarded to
Alexander Land Clearlil9~__ for demolition of said property
in accordance with the specifications in Notice Inviting Bids
for the sum of ___$20,750
SECTION 5.
The Secretary of the Parking Authority
shall certify to the adoption of this resolution, and thence-
forth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
SECTION 6.
The Secretary of the Redevelopment
Agency shall certify to the adoption of this resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
