A RESOLUTION OF THE
PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
SETTING PARKING METER RATES
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica would like to improve
access to on-street parking and circulation on the streets by establishing reasonable short-
term parking rates; and
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica would like to ensure
orderly use of available short-term parking spaces by keeping its rates for off-street spaces
comparable to those for adjacent on-street spaces; and
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica is authorized to set
rates for parking at various parking meter zones by resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AND PROCLAIM AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following parking meter fees shall be established
Parking Meter Zone "E"
$0.75 per hour
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall not be effective until such time as appropriate
signs notifying the public of the provisions herein have been posted by the Department of
Planning and Community Development.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
