A RESOLUTION OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
SETTING PARKING METER RATES

term parking rates; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Monica would like to ensure that

where all-day parking is available in nearby off-street lots; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Monica is authorized to set rates
for parking at various parking meter zones by resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following parking meter fees shall be established:
Parking Meter Zone "A"
$1.00 per hour
Parking Meter Zone "B"
$0.75 per hour
$0.75 per hour
Parking Meter Zone "C"
1
Parking Meter Zone liD" $0.75 per hour
SECTION 3, This Resolution shall not be effective until such time as appropriate
signs notifying the public of the provisions herein have been posted by the Department of
Planning and Community Development.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
