(Redevelopment Agency Series)
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE
PAYMENT OF EXPENDITURES FOR THE OCEAN PARK
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Plan, the Coastal Development
Permlt, and the Dispositlon and Development Agreement for the Ocean
Park Redevelopment ProJect obllgate the Agency to provide certain
publlC lmprovements for the beneflt of the project, includlng the
installation of a public access way; and,
WHEREAS, the Clty of Santa Monica has received blds for
the lnstallation of sald improvements ln the manner requlred by law;
and,
WHEREAS, the Clty of Santa Monica intends to award contracts
for sald publlC lmprovements; and,
WHEREAS, certaln funds are available in the Redevelopment
Agency accounts WhlCh have been allocated for the installatlon of
sald improvements; and,
WHEREAS, a permlt has been issued for such work pursuant
to the Californla Coastal Zone Conservation Act of 1976.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Redevelopment Agency hereby authorizes the
payment from Agency funds for expenditures wlth respect to the

lnstallation of a public access way which is of benefit to the Ocean
Park Redevelopment Project in an amount not-to-exceed TWO HUNDRED
FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($250,000).
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Redevelopment Agency shall
certlfy to the adoptlon of this resolutlon, and thenceforth and
thereafter the same shall be ln full force and effect.
