RESOLUTION NO. 364 (RAS)
(Redevelopment Agency Serles)
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE
PAYMENT OF EXPENDITURES FOR THE DOWNTOWN
REDEVELOP~ENT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Plan and the Dispositlon and
Development Agreement for the Downtown Redevelopment ProJect obligate
the Agency to provide certain publlC improvements for the benefit of
the proJect, lncluding the lnstallation of improved trafflC slgnals,
resurfaclng of streets, and realignment and ~mprovement of the Maln
Street/Colorado Avenue intersectlon; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica has received blds for the
installation of sald lmprovements in the manner required by law; and,
WHEREAS, the Clty of Santa ~onica has awarded contracts for
sald public improvements; and,
WHEREAS, certaln funds are available in the Redevelopment
Agency accounts WhlCh have been allocated for the installatlon of said
lmprovements; and,
WHEREAS, a permlt has been issued for such work pursuant to
the Callfornla Coastal Zone Conservatlon Act of 1972.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. The Redevelopment Agency hereby authorlzes the
payment from Agency funds for expendltures wlth respect to the

installatlon of lmproved trafflc slgnals, resurfacing of streets, and
real~gnment and improvement of the Main Street/Colorado Avenue lnter-
section WhlCh are of benefit to the Downtown Redevelopment Project in
an amount not-to-exceed FOUR HUNDRED FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($415,000).
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Redevelopment Agency shall
certlfy to the adoptlon of this resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be ln full force and effect.
