RESOLUTION NO. 16 (HAS)
(HOUSING AUTHORITY SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA AU-
THORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A STANDARD AGREE-
MENT AND ANY RELATED DOCUMENTS WITH THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION AND PAR-
TICIPATION IN THE RENTAL HOUSING CONSTRUCTION
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the HOUSIng Authority (hereinafter the "Authority")
has applied to the Department of Housing and Community Develop-
ment for (undIng under the Rental Housing Construction Program;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Health and Safety Code SectIon 50735 et
seq., the CalifornIa Department of Housing and Community Develop-
ment (herei na f ter "Sta te") is author i zed to prov i de funds for
rental hOUSIng constructIon; and
WHEREAS, the Authority, a local public Agency organIzed
under the statutes of the State of CalifornIa, IS elIgIble to
receive said funds; and
WHEREAS, the Department of HOUSIng and CommunIty Development
has awarded AuthorIty a condItional funding commitment under the
Rental Housing ConstructIon Program,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLrn~S:
SECTION 1. The AuthorIty is hereby authorized to enter Into
an agreement WIth the State to accept fInancial assistance in an

amount not to exceed one hundred twenty thousand {$120, 000} for
purposes of development and constructlon of new rental housing.
SECTION 2. The Executive Dlrector or an authorlzed designee
is hereby authorized to execute the Standard Agreement and any
related documents on behalf of the Clty.
SECTION 3. The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the adoption of
this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full fo~ce and effect.
