A ResolutIon of the Housing Authority, Redevelopment Agency,
and Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica
Providing for Compensanon to Members of Said Body
WHEREAS, in Resolution Number 4698(CCS) the City CouncIl declared Itselfto be the
Housing Authority of the CIty of Santa Momca pursuant to California Health and Safety Code
Secnon 34290; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Califorma Health and Safety Code SecTIon 34274, the Housmg
Authority may provide compensatIOn for its members,
WHEREAS, in Ordinance Number 1202(CCS) the City CouncIl declared itself to be the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Monica pursuant to California Health and Safety
Code Section 33200; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to CalIfornia Health and Safety Code SectIOn 33114.5, the
Redevelopment Agency may provide compensation for Its members; and
WHEREAS, in Resolution Number 2960(CCS) the City Council declared itself to be the
Parking Authonty of the CIty of Santa Monica pursuant to the Cabfonna Streets and Highways
Code Section 32661.2; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Cahforrua Streets and HIghways Code Section 32801, the Parking
Authority may provide compensatIon for Its members,

NOW THEREFORE, THE HOUSING AUTHORITY, THE REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY MTD THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Each Housing Authority member shall receive $50.00 for every meeting
attended No member shall receive compensatIon for attending more than two meetmgs of the
HOUSIng Authority dunng any calendar month In additIOn, members shall receive their actual
and necessary expenses Incurred In the discharge of thel! duties
SECTION 2 Each Redevelopment Agency member shall receive $30.00 for every
meeting attended. No member shall receive compensatlOn for attending more than two meetmgs
of the Redevelopment Agency during any calendar month. In addition, members shall receive
therr actual and necessary expenses incurred in the discharge of their duties
SECTION 3 Each Parlang Authority member shall receive $50.00 for every meeting
attended. No member shall receive compensatIOn for attending more than two meetings of the
Parking Authority durmg any calendar month. In additlOn, members shall receive their actual and
necessary expenses mcurred in the discharge of theu duties
SECTION 4 This action supercedes any previous actIon taken by the City CouncIl,
Housing Authority, Redevelopment Agency and Parkmg Authonty establIshing compensatlon
levels for the aforementioned entItIes. This revised pay shall take effect on July 1, 1996.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoptlon of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be ill full force and effect
