RESOLUTION NO. 27 (HAS)
(HOUSING AUTHORITY SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE STANDARD
AGREEMENT AND ANY AMENDMENTS THERETO AND RELATED DOCU-
MENTS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION AND PARTICIPATION IN THE
OPERATIONAL PHASE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA I S RENTAL
HOUSING CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the city of Santa Monica
(hereinafter the ItAuthority") has executed State contract No. 83-
RHC-140 dated June 22, 1984, authorizing the participation in the
Rental Housing Construction Program; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 50735 et
seg., the California Department of Housing and Community Develop-
ment (hereinafter "State") is authorized to provide funds for the
purpose of reducing rent levels to ensure occupancy by eligible
households; and
WHEREAS, the Authority, a local public Agency organized
under the statutes of the State of California, is eligible to
receive said funds; and
WHEREAS, the development identified in the State Contract
has been completed or is about to be completed and may require
said funds for operational subsidy;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Authority is hereby authorized to enter into
an amendment, and any future amendments with the State for the

purposes of providing such funds according to the terms of such
contract.
SECTION 2. The Executive Director or an authorized designee
is hereby authorized to execute the amendment and any future
amendments on behalf of the Housing Authority.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
