HOUSING AUTHORITY SERIES
(HAS)
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO ENTER INTO AN
ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT (ACC) WITH H U D
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded the
City of Santa Monica 28 Housing Assistance Vouchers and 10 Housing Assistance
Certificates for Its SectIon 8 Program, and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of the 38 additional SubsIdies IS consistent with the
Comprehensive Housing Affordabihty Strategy (CHAS), for our area of operation,
NOW, THEREFORE. THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1 The Executive Director IS authorized to enter Into an Annual
Contnbutlons Contract with the Department of Housing and Urban Development for 10
Housing Assistance Certificates and 28 Housing Assistance Vouchers on behalf of the City
of Santa Monica Housing Authonty
SECTION 2 The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of thIs Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be In full and effect
