RESOLUTION NO. 214 (PAS)
PARKING AUTHORITY SERIES
A RESOLUTION OF THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING PARKING METER RATES IN
LOTS 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 18 AND 26
WHEREAS, there is a high demand for off-street parking in
the City: and
WHEREAS, the prices of parking meters in off-street
parking lots no longer reflects the high demand for parking in
the City: and
WHEREAS, the City desires to provide uniformity and equity
in the on-street and off-street parking meter rates.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Parking Authority establishes a fifty cents
($0.50) per hour parking meter rate for Lots 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9,
10, 11, 12, 18, and 26.
SECTION 2. The Executive Secretary shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
