RESOLUTION NO. 40 (HAS)
(HOUSING AUTHORITY SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING SUPERSEDING PART I OF
SECTION 8 HOUSING CERTIFICATE PROGRAM ANNUAL
CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT NO. SF-S20(E} AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
(lIPHA") desires to enter into a superseding Section 8 Annual
Contributions Contract ("ACC") with the united states of America
("Government") for the Section 8 Existing Housing certificate
Program; and
WHEREAS, the Section 8 ACC must now be revised so that it will
consist of the following parts:
a. Superseding part I of the ACC, HUD 52520b (8/88),
applicable to the Section 8 Existing Housing Certificate
Program.
b. Exhibit I, Projects Appropriated Before Federal Fiscal
Year 1988.
c. Exhibit II, Projects Appropriated 1n Federal Fiscal Year
1988 and Later Years.
NOW THEREFORE, THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The SUPERSEDING Part I of the ACC, together with
Exhibits I and II, for the Housing certificate Program are hereby
approved and accepted. The Executive Director or his designee is
hereby authorized and directed to execute the counterparts of the
ACC on behalf of the PHA, and the Secretary is hereby authorized
to impress the official seal of the PHA on each such counterpart
and to forward such executed counterparts to the Government
together with such other documents evidencing the approval and
authorizing the execution thereof, as may be required by the
Government.
SECTION 2: The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
